Project overview
LPE provided structural engineering services for the Corrosion Control and Piping support for the raw Water facility at Omohundro. During our design phase we visited the facility to determine the condition of the existing stairs, pipe supports and railings. The existing structure was noted to be conventionally reinforced concrete frame with one way slabs supported on concrete beams spanning over concrete columns. The stairs were concrete framed as well with load bearing concrete walls. The tanks and Retaining walls were reinforced concrete.
