Project overview
The critical project consists of a new 31,000 sf Substation Enclosure at the corner of 11
th
and Hynes Street, which will replace the existing 10
th
Avenue Substation, which will be removed to accommodate the Nashville Yards project. The project includes the Substation on the ground level, with a basement, elevated switch gear floor and parking above that is connected to the top of the existing, adjacent parking deck. The floor-to-floor height of the Substation level is 22’-0” to match the existing adjacent parking garage, considering the slope of the site down to 11
th
Avenue.
